established in 2010

My career into photography officially started in the year 2010 around Feb. when I decided that i would invest into this new found craft that i was liking at the moment. I had been a graphic designer from 2004 up until that moment when a camera was introduced into my hands all from a thought I had as a solution to a problem I was running into as a graphic artist.

I tell people that ask me how and why, IT WAS A ACCIDENT…. I purchased a fujifilm point and shoot camera from Walmart only with the goal of when a client books me for a mixtape cover design and don’t have quality images, I will offer to take the image for the project and that way my job is easier.

Shortly after my purchase, i advertised I was a photographer and i got booked very fast from someone I didn’t know and she wanted a photo-shoot. She paid me, we set a date and we shot and they sparked my love for capturing images and more importantly it eventually made me understand why I do what I do… to make people feel good and fall in love with their-self.

I combined my graphic design abilities with photography and i became Seats Photographix, although people say it like photo graphics and its all one word, as long as you spell it with a X its ok in my book.
